Wind tunnel and “banco de queimas”

It allows to set fires on different types of complex forest fuel and soils, under controlled conditions. We can control various parameters that affect the behavior and the effects of fire, such as humidity and charge of different strata of fuel, its compression of the most superficial ones, and the wind speed.

It has got a set of sensors, cameras and dataloggers that allow us to collect a lot of information during the experiments.
